Featured Funeral: A Spreading of Ashes

An artist in Cincinnati, Patricia Renick, had her friends take a small envelope of ashes at her funeral. Her instructions were for each of them to spread the ashes any place they thought appropriate. Renick’s ashes ended up as far as a Tibetan mountain. The idea for the ash distribution stemmed from a conversation with a friend.
