After the death of this Missouri woman, her family and friends celebrated her death as she had lived her life.

Vallonia’s friends and family gathered in the room that was called “Big Mama’s Kitchen” in the Wade Funeral Home. The casket was open while guests ate fried chicken, sipped Kool-Aid and played cards. Many guests claimed that the funeral felt like Val, and they shared memories instead of tissues.
